New LRSD Middle School Reform
One of the first directives the LRSD
Board of Directors issued this year was to "fix" the
district's middle schools. Associate Superintendent of
Secondary Schools Dr. Daniel Whitehorn says, "Consistency,
achievement, and monitoring are the keys to fixing our
middle schools." To that end, he has outlined eleven key
reform strategies to be implemented in all of the district
middle schools this
